Josh was host of KCRW's Left, Right & Center from 2015-2021 and co-host of the spin-off series All The Presidents' Lawyers.  He was a columnist at Insider. Josh was a founding correspondent at The Upshot, the economics and data section of The New York Times, business columnist at New York Magazine and Business Insider's senior editor and politics editor. Before entering journalism, he worked in policy research for think tanks and as a real-estate banker at Wells Fargo. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Harvard College.
