Doug Holtz Eakin is president of the American Action Forum. A former fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and the Peterson Institute for International Economics,  from 2003-2005 he served as director of the Congressional Budget Office. He also served as director of domestic and economic policy for John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign.
